VIETNAM - PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation Marine Construction (PTSC MC), a subsidiary of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), has successfully launched the central processing platform for the Lac Da Vang A project, marking a significant milestone in this ambitious offshore oil and gas venture.



The Lac Da Vang A project holds particular significance as it represents the first time PTSC MC has taken full responsibility for the detailed design of a Central Processing Platform (CPP). This achievement establishes a crucial foundation for enhancing project management capabilities, increasing localization rates, and gradually establishing its position as a leading EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning) contractor in the region.

The Lac Da Vang A Central Processing Platform weighs approximately 4,500 tons with dimensions of 42m x 42m x 34m. It is designed with a processing capacity of 1.5 million tons of gas per year and 25,000 barrels of oil per day. The platform is equipped with advanced processing systems including oil-water-gas separation systems, wastewater treatment systems, electrical systems, and process control systems.



The project is being implemented under an EPCIC contract with a total investment of approximately 500 million USD. The implementation period spans 36 months, beginning in 2021 and scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.
