Petrovietnam and Canada Forge Strategic Energy Cooperation
Hanoi, July 10, 2023 - As Vietnam intensifies its development of clean energy and energy transition, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) held a significant meeting with Canadian counterparts, opening up strategic cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the energy sector.
High-Level Meeting Discusses Energy Collaboration
On July 10 in Hanoi, Mr. Le Manh Cuong, General Director of Petrovietnam, met with His Excellency Jim Nickel, Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam. The meeting took place in a friendly and open atmosphere, marking a new step in energy cooperation relations between the two nations.
During the working session, both sides discussed potential cooperation in various energy sectors, particularly renewable energy development, liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology, and clean energy transition.
